What should a certificate for volunteers include?
A volunteer work certificate carries fields a participation certificate does not. Hours and dates get scrutinised, so make them explicit.
- Volunteer name, as it appears on their official records.
- Total hours served, as a number, not a phrase like regularly volunteered.
- Service period, with start and end dates, not only a year.
- Role or activity, such as teaching support, logistics or field survey work.
- Programme or campaign name, so it makes sense outside your organisation.
- Signatory name and designation, the person accountable.
- A unique certificate ID with a QR code and verification link, turning a claim into a checkable record.
Why do volunteer hours get questioned more than other certificates?

How do you issue volunteer work certificates in bulk from a CSV?
