Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of QRCertificates. By creating an account, issuing a credential, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract to use QRCertificates. The service is intended for organizations and individuals issuing legitimate credentials.
The service
QRCertificates lets you design certificate templates, issue single or bulk credentials, deliver them, and offer public verification. Features, limits, and pricing may evolve over time.
Your account & security
You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your login and API keys secure, and for notifying us of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your account.
Acceptable use
You must not use QRCertificates to issue fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful credentials; to impersonate an organization you do not represent; to infringe others’ rights; or to abuse, overload, or attempt to breach the service. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate this section.
Issuer responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the credentials you issue and the data you upload. You represent that you have the right and a lawful basis to issue each certificate and to provide us any recipient personal data, and that the credential’s contents are accurate.
Credits, billing & taxes
Issuance consumes prepaid credits; specimen (test) certificates are free. Prices, applicable taxes (including GST), and invoices are shown in your account, and payments are processed by our payment partner. Prepaid amounts are non-refundable except where required by law.
Verification & availability
We aim to keep public verification available continuously and to operate with commercially reasonable care. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your templates, logos, and certificate data, and grant us the limited licence needed to host, process, render, deliver, and verify your credentials. The QRCertificates platform, brand, and software remain our property.
Revocation & suspension
You may revoke credentials you issued at any time; revoked credentials show as invalid on verification. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, that are used to issue fraudulent credentials, or where required by law.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. On termination, already-issued credentials may remain verifiable so recipients are not harmed, unless you revoke them. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Disclaimers
QRCertificates verifies the authenticity and integrity of a credential’s data; it does not independently verify the truth of the underlying achievement, which is the issuer’s responsibility. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of the credentials you issue, your data, or your breach of these terms.
Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
